Community-Driven Mental-Health Success in Larimer County

In Larimer County, Colorado, the Alliance for Suicide Prevention of Larimer County reports the region’s multi-year effort to reduce suicide via its REPLY program (Resiliency Education Protecting the Lives of Youth) has shown notable progress. 

The program has trained thousands of youth and adults, and a key finding: “We know that kids have thought about it (suicide), and talking about it can actually save lives.” 

Technology Leadership Confirmed in Lincoln

The Lincoln City Council in Nebraska approved Carl Steffen as Chief Information Officer for the City of Lincoln and Lancaster County, following his interim role earlier this year.

Steffen’s appointment underscores a focus on enhancing government service delivery through technology — network infrastructure, cybersecurity and data analytics.
